Rule 63
Record of leave
-(1) The officer who grants leave shall cause the record of leave of the employees working under him to be kept. If an employee is given maternity leave, maternity care leave, extraordinary leave or study leave, the notification should also be sent to the civil library and the office of recording salary expenses.
(2) If an employee is transferred or promoted from one office to another office, the notice of transfer or promotion as well as the copy of leave records must be sent to the current office. The record of such leave should be kept as per schedule-16.
(3) A copy of the record of leave as per sub-rule (2) shall also be given to the concerned employee. When action is taken for promotion, it will be the responsibility of the concerned department or ministry of the employee to submit the record of such leave.
